Godfrey Custom Tackle

is owned and run by Ted and Faye Godfrey. Ted handles the technical issues of reel design and production while Faye manages all aspects of business. Feel free to contact us - as we are always happy to discuss tackle making, our local fishing, and of course the details of any reel model.

We find that the best fly fishing locally is the evening rise on Penns Creek, the best reels are vintage classic style reels, and certainly we feel that the best part of being an angler is sharing the river with friends.

Ordering:

Place US domestic orders directly with Ted at: (410) 239 8468 or with one of the Godfrey Reel Dealers. All reels are custom made to order with shipment scheduled for a particular time frame. A nonrefundable $100 deposit is required with order. Please be sure to provide your shipping address and daytime phone number.

Payment Method: Check, MasterCard, VISA or money order maybe used for the $100 deposit. Final payment is by VISA or MasterCard, and credit card information should only be handled over the phone. Make checks payable to: Godfrey Custom Tackle.

Delivery Scheduling: Reels are build on a first come - first serve basis. Rest assured your order will be built in the order in which received.

Shipping - Domestic and Overseas:

Domestic shipments are now shipped via tracked 2nd-day Priority US Mail with confirmation of receipt.

We currently use DHL for shipments to Europe which incurs a cost of $105.00 or more plus insurance costs. Shipments to Japan are much less and go out by US Express Mail.

Reel Warranty:

A reels are warranted for repair or replacement for the original owner for 10 years provided that he or she maintains reasonable care and maintenance as described in the reel information sheet. A reel information sheet is provided with each reel and contains the reel Serial Number, Original Owner's Name as well as maintenance information.
